From June 25 to July 4, 2025, young people from Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Spain, and Türkiye came together in Padova, Italy, to take part in the inspiring youth exchange project “Stand Together: Bullying Stops Here.” The initiative aimed to tackle one of the most pressing social issues affecting today’s youth — peer bullying — by promoting empathy, understanding, and respectful communication.

Over the course of eight days, participants engaged in interactive workshops, discussions, role-plays, and cultural exchange activities designed to raise awareness and build practical skills to prevent bullying. Through non-formal education methods, they explored the roots and impacts of peer bullying, shared personal experiences, and worked together to find creative solutions to promote inclusion and kindness in their communities.

The program also included expert talks, team challenges, and cultural evenings, allowing participants to strengthen their communication and leadership abilities while learning from one another’s diverse backgrounds. A highlight of the exchange was the “Saying No to Offensiveness” Kahoot competition, which turned learning into a fun and engaging experience.

Beyond the project’s duration, the participants are now committed to spreading the message of tolerance and respect in their local communities. They plan to organize awareness activities, discussions, and workshops to continue advocating against bullying and for positive communication among youth.

Our Romanian participants shared that the project was not only an educational experience but also a deeply personal one — helping them gain confidence, build lifelong friendships, and realize the power of standing together against negativity.

We are proud to have been part of this meaningful Erasmus+ initiative, which continues to inspire young people across Europe to speak up, support one another, and make a difference.
